High college seniors, selected by their schools as the Detroit area's "Brightest and Most suitable," are invited to take part in the contest by submitting a 500 phrase essay on how to move our state ahead by maintaining young graduates operating and living in Michigan. The winner will be declared June 22nd on WXYZ-Tv.

The deadline to submit an essay is June six. All of the essays submitted will be delivered to Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and Detroit Mayor Dave Bing. The essay finalists in the competition will be posted using the net at wxyz.com and gardner-white.com.
